This June, we are formally launching CPU's volunteer, membership and internship program. Our internship program is getting good feedback from our 1st batch of interns. Partnership with other organizations (NGOs and POs) will also be formally accepted. A few student organizations from different schools are eager to affiliate with CPU.
We also have the following programs in need of sponsors:
- FOSS on the GO - Free and Open Source Software for Good Governance, an effort to document best practices in implementing FOSS in the government sector.

FOSS @ Schools - a program for propagating FOSS to universities and colleges.

SciPop - a science popularization project. This program aims to popularize science and mathematics to secondary and elementary students using FOSS and ICT.

Climate Change and New Media - an initiative of the recently organized New Media Team of CPU. We hope to contribute people-centered analysis on current climate change debate. The use of new media tools will enable us to reach a wider audience.

Digital Campaign for Non-profits - we continue to support non-profits and their integration of new media to their workflows.

SnT in a Box Project - our initiative in the field of open content for education. We are developing instructional tools and content to help teachers in science and math education. visit our project website at http://www.opensciencebox.org

Software Freedom Day (SFD 2009) - we have been the lead organizer or SFD in the Philippines since 2004.

Issues and advocacy - We continue to clarify issues on Automated Elections, Intellectual Property Rights, Access to communication infrastructures, good governance and other issues affecting the filipino people.

Project People's Web, Digital Resources Bureau, and Applications and Systems - Our core program to support people's organizations. We implement drupal sites, provide networking and hardware support to their offices, and develop databases.

Quarterly Technical Trainings - we are also preparing technical sessions for our members. Topics for VOIP to Network security are in the pipeline.

LPI training - this August, CPU is conducting its first LPI training to its members. This will be a 3-day training session.

New Media and the 2010 Election - we will actively participate in the making the 2010 elections transparent and clean. We will enable dedicated individuals report cases of frauds and errors in the automated election system. We will be educating voters in the new election system.

Campus e-Journalism
- together with students of University of Makati, we will be launching our Drupal Citizen Journalism Portal for students and volunteers. We hope to provide tools to citizen journalists in the country. - Open Source Developer Conference - An event of CPU and open source communities.
