ALAMINOS, LAGUNA
Laguna, resort province of the Philippines, is a haven for fresh and pristine bodies of water such as hot springs, lakes and waterfalls. Laguna is not only endowed with natural wonders, but also has rich soil to grow colorful flowers and sweet tropical fruits.
Live the farm life in Alaminos, Laguna and help sustain the feeding program that brings much-needed food to disadvantaged areas around Metro Manila! Volunteers may help in sustaining the Food For Life program, by helping at the farm where organic foods is grown.
Volunteers will be working on the 9-hectare piece of land of the International Society for Krishna Consciousness of the Philippines, Inc. (ISKCON) doing various farming activities such as:
- Clearing of farm land (cutting of grass and plants);
- Maintenance of farm (watering of plants, weeding), harvesting of fruits, crops and flowers;
- Tree planting and crop planting.
