Established in August 2001, Hands On Manila Foundation, Inc. (HOM) is a non-profit organization providing members with diverse and flexible volunteer opportunities to address the needs of the community.
HOM recruits and coordinates a broad base of volunteers by providing them with service opportunities in other non-profit organizations. It offers a flexible model that allows volunteerism to be integrated into the daily schedules of busy individuals.

HOM believes that volunteerism is an effective tool for social change. It empowers individuals to contribute to the community while providing meaningful experiences that make a difference in society.
HOM believes that change begins from within. The development of a community starts with each person, and volunteering is a process that can unleash powerful civic change.

VOLUNTEERISM is not simply sharing talent, time and treasure. It is a way of life. Hands On Manila offers venues for individuals to embark on their journey as they begin making a difference and becoming effective volunteers.

It is a continuing process of mobilizing resources and individuals to work together and to create camaraderie and momentum for continued action.
